The NGRAIN Viewer provides real-time, unscripted interactivity with 3D equipment simulations, enabling virtual "hands-on" practice of tasks and procedures. With the NGRAIN Viewer, users can practice tasks as if they were using live equipment.
The NGRAIN Viewer is free, it may be installed on an unlimited number of computers, and it can easily be inserted into new and existing Microsoft® Word documents, PowerPoint® slides, and Adobe® PDF files, in addition to HTML and Windows Forms applications.
NGRAIN Producer enables users with no 3D experience or programming/scripting skills to rapidly create, update, insert, and deploy 3D equipment simulations, which include animations and real-time tasks. Non-technical users learn to use Producer in 2 days.
Once downloaded, the NGRAIN Producer installer will allow installation at a later time, without requiring internet connection.

- NGRAIN-ENABLED VIRTUAL TASK TRAINER DEMO:
NGRAIN-enabled Virtual Task Trainers (VTTs) use 3D equipment simulations to train on operation, maintenance, and repair tasks. VTTs include parts familiarization through virtual hands-on exploration, skill acquisition through procedural animations, learn-by-doing through guided practice, and check-on-learning through unguided tests.
- NGRAIN-ENABLED ITEM DEMO:
NGRAIN-enabled interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMs) use 3D equipment simulations to enhance training on fundamentals, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. The IETMs reduce unnecessary part replacements in the field, and shorten maintenance turn-around-time.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 SP1 or higher
- Microsoft DirectX® 8.1 or higher
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
- 800x600 screen area or higher
- 16 or 32 bit color depth
- NGRAIN® Viewer 4.0
Performance is related to your computer's processor speed and memory and to the complexity (size and number of parts) of the 3D model you are viewing.
- For basic models your computer should have a minimum of 128 MB of RAM and a 700 MHz processor.
- For complex models, it is recommended that your computer have at least 512 MB of RAM and a 1.4 GHz processor.
- Performance with complex models will be improved most by adding additional RAM.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- It is recommended to close any other programs you are running.
- Click "Download" and then click "Install" to run the installation.
- Once the NGRAIN Demos are installed, click "Finish" to close the installation wizard.
- By default the installation process adds a folder called "NGRAIN Demos" to your computer in the following location: C:\Program Files\NGRAIN
- Once installed, to open a demo application, select :
- Start All Programs> NGRAIN> NGRAIN Demos\NGRAIN Demos
