NGRAIN Honored as 2004 Venture All Star Company
Award recognizes top emerging private companies in the Northwest for current growth achievements and future potential
VANCOUVER, BC — June 7, 2004 —NGRAIN Corporation announced today that it has been named as a 2004 Venture All Star company by the Investment Forum, a Washington-based non-profit organization that recognizes the achievements and growth potential of private companies in the Pacific Northwest including Oregon, Washington and British Columbia.
Paul Lindahl, president & CEO of NGRAIN was honored along with 38 other CEOs from the United States and Canada, at a ceremony held on June 4, 2004 at the Chateau Ste. Michelle, in Seattle.
The selected companies have demonstrated their ability to follow in the footsteps of the region's most successful growth businesses such as Microsoft, Starbucks, Costco, Amazon.com and Immunex. The winners were evaluated based on their growth achievements to date, market potential, management strength and financial backing.

The 2004 Venture All Star companies were selected from more than 125 nominations by a 40-member selection committee comprised of representatives from the region's top venture capital funds such as Voyager Capital, OVP Venture Partners, Madrona Venture Group, Ignition Partners, Northwest Venture Associates, Ventures West, Yaletown Ventures and Greenstone Ventures.
