Both ContentaView and NGRAIN are web-enabled to allow users to access technical information at home, in the classroom or in the field. In addition, 3D capability allows rapid creation of new 3D content or easy repurposing of existing 3D assets (such as CAD and other engineering schematics) for rich media display. As an example, a mechanic can view a 3D animation to learn a new repair procedure, or a soldier can follow step-by-step maintenance procedures in the field for repair aided by a 3D virtual model of the engine.
